Camden Point is a small city in Platte County, Missouri, United States. As of the 2010 census, the city had a population of 474. Camden Point is located about 30 miles northwest of downtown Kansas City and is part of the Kansas City metropolitan area.
The town was established in 1838 and named after Charles Pratt, the first Earl of Camden, by the English proprietor who was responsible for the platting of the town.
Camden Point has a small downtown area with a few locally owned businesses, including a cafe and grocery store. The town is also home to a mobile home park, a community center, and several parks.
Camden Point is situated along Interstate 29, providing residents with easy access to Kansas City to the south and St. Joseph to the north. The town is also served by the Kansas City International Airport, located about 15 miles south.
